Wish You Well Available on DVD June 2

Wish You Well (2013 Heartland Film Festival Official Selection, Narrative Feature & World Premiere) will be available to own on June 2!

Based on the novel set in 1940 by David Baldacci, Wish You Well tells the story of 12-year-old Lou and her younger brother Oz as they move from New York City to rural Virginia to live with their great-grandmother after their father, an award-winning writer, dies in a tragic car accident. Here Lou will realize her life-long ambition to become a writer like her father, but she will also come to learn about her roots and past tragedies that kept her father from ever returning to the place that provided the inspiration for his novels. Lou will come to learn of enormous sacrifice, the value of good friends, the battle between corporate interests and the sanctity of the land and whether someone can truly wish another well. Lou learns lessons about loyalty, justice, and survival, and discovers the importance of the power of believing. In essence, Lou will become who she is in a place where she believed she could never truly belong.
