World’s Fastest Indian, The


For 25 years, Burt Munro has been working on his motorcycle. It’s a classic, a 1920 Indian, and Burt is convinced he can increase its speed to record-breaking levels. He dreams of taking it to the salt flats of Bonneville, Utah, to see just how fast it will go, but first he’s got to make it halfway across the world, from New Zealand to America.  By the early 1960s, Burt is no longer a young man. Heart disease threatens his life, making him more determined than ever to get his Indian to Utah and breaking the land speed record.
