Snow Falling on Cedars


When a white fisherman is found drowned off the coast of Washington State, suspicion of murder enters the picture upon the discovery of a major head wound. In this post-war era, tensions run high between the white population and the Japanese-Americans looking to create a life for themselves in this new location. Chief among the suspects is Kazuo, a local Japanese fisherman with a grudge against the family of the murdered man.
