Schindler’s List

At the dawning of World War II, Oskar Schindler is a man concerned with little more than making money. But after purchasing a factory from Jewish business owner, Itzhak Stern, he comes to realize that he has the power to change the horrors going on around him. By falsely insisting to Nazi leaders that he must constantly build his workforce, he is able to save thousands of Jews from the unspeakable evil of the concentration camps.

Schindler’s List played at the 2001 Heartland Film Festival in the 10 Most Truly Moving Pictures of All Time Sidebar.
