The relationship between Lord Longford, a controversial political figure, and Myra Hindley, one of Britain’s most notorious criminals is examined in close, clear focus. A longtime advocate for prisoners, Longford doesn’t hesitate when Hindley writes him a letter seeking his attention. Despite the media, the government and even his own family insisting that some crimes are beyond redemption. Hindley and her boyfriend had been responsible for horrendous crimes, but the facts don’t keep Longford from meeting with the young woman.  Once in front of her, Longford becomes more determined than ever to win her parole, believing her to have been under her boyfriend’s influence while the crimes were committed.
