Newfields

As the Indianapolis Museum of Art has grown to become an internationally renowned museum, we now turn our attention toward increasing our emphasis on combining art with nature.

This combination of art and nature was always part of the original vision—and now we see a vision for the next fifty years.

The galleries are surrounded by gardens, water features, over a hundred acres of woodland filled with surprise and beauty. The campus itself is ideal for performances, afternoon walks, kite-flying, cloud-gazing, memory-making, new-idea-having. There’s a mansion to stage unforgettable events, restaurants for relaxing, bars for microbrews and friendships.

Newfields is a setting where it’s easy to make connections of all sorts. Like no place else in Indianapolis.

Daniel's Vineyard

Daniel’s Vineyard is a full production winery and event venue offering a portfolio of 15 high-quality wines. Together alongside their five kids, the idea to plant a vineyard was sown in the Tuscan foothills over a bottle of wine by husband and wife, Daniel and Kimberly. Upon arrival back to the states, they began to put their dream into action. In 2010, over 14,000 grape vines were cultivated into the Indiana soil by family, friends, and neighbors. As the vines have flourished over the years, so has the Daniel’s Vineyard community.

Sweet and Savory

When Shawn and Melissa Mudd first came to Indianapolis, they wanted to make a big entrance and not only launched an offsite catering and event planning business but also started a small café where they could get to know the people of Indianapolis.

Both the café and the catering business took off and quickly began earning loyal regulars. For more than a decade, the couple ran, grew and expanded both businesses. While the Mudds admit balancing both businesses with a growing family was challenging, they say it not only helped them flex their creative muscles but also helped them learn more about the unique needs and tastes of the Indiana communities.

After 12 years of running both businesses, the couple decided that they wanted to focus soley on their catering services—expanding and offering new options to clients. By shifting this focus, they were able to expand services to include a wide variety of events including weddings, private parties, corporate events and even private dining services.

Today, the company operates out of a new, renovated location off 96th street and feature a gourmet catering kitchen and beautiful consultation and tasting room.
