The 2016 Heartland Film Festival Grand Prize/Audience Choice for Documentary Feature winner “Night School” has been picked up by Oscilloscope Laboratories and will return to Indianapolis for three nights of screenings at the IMAX Theatre Indiana State Museum.
Indianapolis has one of the lowest graduation rates in the country. This award-winning documentary follows three adult students as they work to earn their high school diplomas while facing the challenges of daily life and broader systemic roadblocks faced by many low-income Americans. With so much going against them, these students strive to improve their lives in the face of that adversity.
The IMAX Theatre Indiana State Museum screenings are from June 15 – 17 at 7 p.m., with Director Andrew Cohn scheduled to be present each evening. More information and tickets can be found here.
The documentary will also open in New York at the IFC Center starting this week. For more information about “Night School” visit nightschoolfilm.com.
