Event Details

Join WFYI Public Media, Butler University and Heartland Film for the world premiere of Ted Green's new documentary "Eva" about Holocaust survivor Eva Mozes Kor.

WFYI, in collaboration with Ted Green Films and Mika Brown, is honored to announce the world premiere of “Eva,” the incredible story of Holocaust survivor Eva Mozes Kor. Pulled with her family from their Romanian farm, she endured the unconscionable experiments of Nazi doctor Josef Mengele, the “Angel of Death,” and sunk into decades of isolation and anger before single-handedly launching the biggest manhunt in history and ultimately starting a worldwide movement of healing through forgiveness.

Fighting off time and failing health, this 4 foot 9 inch, 83-year-old woman from Terre Haute travels the world to promote what her extraordinary life has taught: peace, humanity and healing.

Narrated by Hollywood icon Ed Asner, “Eva” includes on-camera appearances from CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, former NBA great Ray Allen, TV and movie star Elliott Gould and many others who reveal touching accounts of Eva’s impact on their own lives. The premiere is a partnership with Butler University and Heartland Film and is expected to attract an international crowd, so don’t procrastinate. We anticipate tickets will sell out quickly!
